THE JIM ACREE MEMORIAL FUND WAS ESTABLISHED TO HELP FUND SCHOLARSHIPS FOR DESERVING HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES TO ATTEND COLLEGE. THE MEMORIAL FUND IS NOW SET TO GIVE A SINGLE $500 SCHOLARSHIP ANNUALLY TO ONE STUDENT ATHLETE WITH ACADEMIC ABILITY AND ECONOMIC NEED FROM CORSICANA HIGH SCHOOL. IF SUFFICENT CAPITAL IS RAISED, A SECOND FUND IS BEING CONSIDERED FOR MIDLAND LEE UNDER THE SAME GUIDELINES.
